WATLOW ANAFAZE CLS208 is a high-performance temperature controller in WATLOW’s Anafaze series, designed for complex industrial environments.
CLS208 provides 4/8/16 loop configuration, which supports simultaneous control of multiple independent heating or cooling zones. Compared with common single-loop or dual-loop controllers on the market (such as Omron E5CC series), its multi-tasking capability significantly improves system efficiency, especially for wafer heating, plastic extrusion and other scenarios that require zoned temperature control.
PID control accuracy of ±0.1°C, combined with the self-tuning function, can automatically optimize parameters to reduce commissioning time.
Supports complex algorithms such as Ramp & Soak control, which is suitable for processes that require staged temperature rise (e.g. rubber vulcanization).
Compared to similar products such as the Continental 3504 series, the CLS208 offers advantages in terms of response time (0.1s control cycle) and immunity (IP65 protection).

Sensor compatibility and communication features
Full sensor support: Thermocouples (up to 1800°C), RTDs, and linear voltage/current inputs are available to meet the sensing needs of different industrial scenarios.
Industrial-grade communication protocols: Integrated RS-485, Modbus RTU and optional Ethernet interfaces support seamless connection with SCADA and MES systems to meet the needs of remote monitoring and control in Industry 4.0.
Environmental Adaptability and Reliability
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and IP65 protection, it can operate stably in harsh conditions such as dust and humidity.
The fireproof PC or aluminum alloy housing weighs only 0.6-1.1kg and supports DIN rail mounting to reduce deployment complexity.
WATLOW ANAFAZE CLS208 has established a technical moat in the high-end temperature control market through its multi-loop architecture, industrial-grade reliability and forward-looking communication design. In the face of the trend of industrial automation to intelligent, flexible development, its modular expansion capabilities and protocol openness will become the key to continue to lead.
